Default Is the S50 Gone for good?

In looking at websites trying to show pictures to the people I got the s50 for from the sirius.com websites(since they didn't arrive in time for xmas), the only way I was able to find the s50 was by searching the store for s50 or using google to find the original webpage showing the s50. I couldn't find it in stock on Amazon or tss-radio when I searched either.

This begs the question: Have we seen the last of the new s50s or will they still be produced now that the stilleto is out?

I'm going to guess and say the s50 is being phased out. It's a great unit with the newer firmware, but the sl100 is going to replace it. I assume in a few months they won't be around most stores at all.

I went to CC and they had an S50 on display but no Stiletto. Thought that was kind of odd. With that said, the Stiletto is a far better unit and really should take the place of the S50. It does everything better and then some.

That is weird about the s50 still being out on display with no Stilleto. Now that I think about it, the last time I went BB there wasn't a Stilleto either, just an s50 - but that was a while ago.

It depends on what it costs them to make these plus the per-unit recording fee. If they can break even or better at the price they're at now and it turns out to be a good sub adder, they may continue it for anotehr batch or two. The Stiletto has many added benefits, but the price point is still rather high for many peeps. The recording concept is still foreign to many people I talk to when it comes to SatRadio and IMO, the more options the better.

How about going back thru the buffer and Loving songs out of it?

I never did that with my S50 so I don't miss it in the Stiletto.

This is one of my favorite s50 things <Sound of Music track here>. You can't do this with Stiletto?

My understanding is that you can only LOVE a song while it is playing. After that, you can only mark it for later purchase.
