Default New S50 batteries & no longer paying for defective return shipments??

anyone else had problems with re-issued S50 batteries, display on home dock says 100% but after undocking power dips to as low as only 80%???? Sirius won't ship only batteries??? and will no longer pay for return shipping back on defective units?? after typical pass the buck between the various sirius dept.
got them to credit back $20 to my account. i'm real close to trying to take unit back to best buy under california's lemon law??? i think i read about it here, has anyone done this?????? i'm on my 6th S50 and i would have to eat cost of a home dock and a few back-up batteries

I had that months ago. They were going to swap my home dock, but never got back to me. I don't remember if it was on the first or second battery.

Yeah, they should start sending out bags of money to all you suffering from your 20% battery power loss.

Have you even tested to see how long the battery actually lasts? It's a good chance that the quick drop in power is causing a misread in actual battery power.

Dam, my gas Gage in my car sits on F for about 100miles then starts to drop like a rock. I'm still waiting for GM to fix it and it's been about 20years now.

You're such an ass sometimes, but it's funny. My last two batteries at full charge have never lasted 4 hours. That's at 100%, if I take it out of car dock right now, it's been recording since 5:00 am, it will show around 80% full, not the 100%. I then hook it via the USB to get to to charge to 100% when I get to work.

I'm just here to bring reality to you people. Everything is an estimate. You buy a 160GB hard drive and only get 150-159GB of free space.

No different here. 4hrs, 3,hrs all depending on how loud you listen, how long the thing is lit up, how many times you press the buttons, if you even cycled the battery correctly the first time.

I know the reality of the S50 and all of it's quirks. I was just saying "yes" that I had had the same problems as the OP. You just get used to it, It's kinda fun planning my day around the battery life of the S50.

Yes Rusty, the charge indicator was correct. And yes, it charged and maintained 100% when charging in the car or by USB. And yes, there was a definite hit in the actual play time. And no, my gas gauge works fine.
