Perhaps then the S50 forums should be locked down. Afterall, if we assume there will be no more updates, then absolutly every issue one would still have a question about could be searched for within old posts.

Many of the latest posts would generally be from new owners of S50's experiencing what is to them new problems, but the same old ones to those that have been here since the unit was first introduced.

Perhaps a venting only sub-forum would be in order?...

It's not hard to avoid venting. Just avoid any post that mentions customer service or warranty exchanges with respect to the s50. That's pretty much the extent of the complaints these days.

Or members could follow the guidelines set up. Why should the onus of avoiding off-topic post fall on those that follow the rules?
