I love the NFL, got the NFL Ticket on Directv.

I have a Cowboys/Sirius sticker on my Ram.

Have every Cowboys game from 1989-1993 on VHS.

But MLB is Americas pastime.

I know the Broncos are the kings around here, while the Rockies can't draw flies.

The Broncos, Avalanche, Nuggets and Rockies in that order (and maybe the Colorado Rapids in front of the Rockies).

And one thing about the NFL, thanks to parity and the Salary Cap, the Cincinnati Bengals have as good a shot to make the Super Bowl as the Patriots do. And they also have the same shot moneywise to sign a big name player, and if they're really good (like the Patriots) they could sign a talented player for less money. In baseball it's the Yankees, and......

I didn't say they weren't, I just said they had as good a chance as the patriots. The Broncos do to, provided they don't lay an egg.

Baseball is great, but it is declining rapidly.

The worst part is the Broncos have their first round pick in '06, don't they?

So if the Redskins lay an egg, the Broncos benefit

I believe it is more accurate to say that MLB's time is past.

The NFL and NBA are definitely more popular, and have much larger television audiences over the course of a season.

Baseball isn't much of a draw on TV until the LCS's and World Series.

I've found that watching baseball games at night on ESPN is the best cure for insomnia.

I don't know if the NFL is now the national past time but I love it....my favorite professional sport....the only one I'd stay in to watch.

Can't get into baseball or hockey at all.....Nothing wrong with either sport....they're just not for me. I like the NBA but only during the playoffs (that's when it seems most exciting though I follow it because this is a Laker town.....though the Clippers seem to be coming on.......).

Default I love base-a-ball, it been berry berry good to mee... BUT

People love football!

In Green Bay, where Favre is king, they had a sellout at Lambeau for a scrimage. And even if you mock those folks for having nothing else to do, you had 35,000 folks come to Baltimore to watch the Ravens and the would-be archrival Redskins scrimage on a hot summer afternoon in the city!

Between the pros and the college game, the numbers don't lie....

Of the four major sports, football, basketball, baseball and hockey--baseball is the most boring to watch on tv or listen to on the radio.

I admit that I enjoy going to the ballpark to watch a game in person, but tv and radio kill it.

On tv, I'm only interested in watching the World Series. Regular season games don't do anything for me.

I can get all the baseball I need on cable and network tv.
