Adam,

I, for one, appreciate you coming on here and letting us know and keeping us updated about the fantasy football schedule. I actually prefer those hours on Sunday.

I catch you and John Hansen every week and look forward to more analysis during the season as well.

Thanks again.

I like that better as well. Don't really listen on friday nights. replays during the week would be great.

Default Week 3 bye-week running back dilemma

Adam,

I know you can't give out individual advice, but I would appreciate if you could address the general topic on this week's show regarding what a fantasy owner should do when faced with choosing between several running backs of similar value that have a bye in week 3:

J. Lewis (3)
C. Portis (3)
D. Davis (3)
K. Jones (3)

Many owners like myself have the 10th and 11th picks in a 10-team draft.

How do you rank these 4 backs in a default scoring league? TDs - 6 points; 20 yards rushing - 1 point; 20 yards receiving - 1 point; no points for receptions.

Should an owner choose between one of these 4 backs and grab a back with a different bye week like C. Dillon or J. Jones?

Thanks for any help you can share.

Call in the show on Sunday and we'll be happy to take a look at it.

Been a fan of Adam and Sam for a long time!

I am a subscriber but leave my boombox at work. I would love it if at the very least the NFL channel could be streamed online. So I am hoping that the Fantasy Show Replay will be during my work hours.

Adam,

Good show on Sunday. You and John answered a lot of good questions. I heard you give your WR ranks from 3-5 and 11-21. I agree with Walker at #3. Drew Bennett at #17 may be a little high. However, if Bennett can develop some chemistry with McNair, he will have another good season.

Please give some RB rankings this week. John gave his RB ranks from 11-13: McAllister, Green, and Lewis. This helps me a bit with my #11 pick. You were both high on D. Davis, but we don't get points for receptions. Is he still worthy of a top-ten pick in this format? Someone ahead of me may snatch Davis up anyway. I know for sure that Rudi will be off the board. I will be happy to get Dillon at #10 and McAllister at #11, but I am not optimistic that they will both fall to me.

I did not have the chance to call in until late in the show. I waited on hold but it was too late to get on the air.

The best way to get your questions answered are trying to call in the first hour.

Adam,

Thanks for taking my call on the show last night. You and John seem to agree that Lewis and Dillon are probably the best bets for me at the 10th and 11th spots. Neither of you were real high on McAllister unless he falls to me as a value pick.

You mentioned possibly drafting a RB and a QB at this spot, because there are 2 less picks in a ten-team draft. However, I think I agree that I would be better off drafting two backs.
