It's a shame to see how far the Niners have fallen, since their glory days as five-time Super Bowl champions. Alas, all sports dynasties eventually come to an end.

Ah, the non-who deyers. Cincy wins on the strength of 3 interceptions and a true break out game for the Palmer-Johnson combo plus a TD by Herzmonalphabet.

I got your back brother...

Lifelong Bengals fan through thick and thin. I grew up in Cincy watching them make it to two Super Bowls and was at the last playoff game they won against Houston. I live in Steelers territory in WV and catch major hell, my favorite teams are the Bengals and whoever is playing the Steelers.

I am looking forward to this weekends game more than any other this year. While everyone is jumping on the "The Bengals Are Playing A Weak Schedule" bandwagon, the Colts have a WEAKER schedule. The Bengals are back and this weekend will prove it.

I have to give the Panthers the edge here, but if they play like they did against the Jets last week (for 3 quarters anyway), then Chicago CAN take this one in a squeaker.

Indianapolis at Cincinnati will be huge. Indy hasn't been truly tested by a good team lately, and the Bengals will be the start of a brutal run to the playoffs. This one will be the harbinger. I'm going with Indy, but this tops my list of upset possibilities.

And I'm even looking forward to the Monday night game. Minnesota and Green Bay are both starting turnarounds, and it'll be fun to see which team has the fire this week. My money is on LA...I mean Minnesota.
With the exception of the Monday night game, the other 2 aren't being shown in LA market (not unless one goes to a sports bar or has the NFL package on DirecTV). Our TV games: Eagles vs. Giants (good one); Raider vs. Redskins and bills vs. chargers.

All I will say is....I'm happy/happy/happy I have Sirius! I'll be jumping b/t stations Sunday afternoon.

I like Indy too....The Bengals are good but do they have enough to slow down Peyton & the Colts? Can Carson and co. move the ball against Indy's revamped "D"? Now THIS should be the Sunday night game not Chiefs vs. Texans.......

The Panthers/Bears game...another good one! I have to go with the Panthers. I think they are overall a stronger team.

How true! I remember those SB years.....they crushed my Dolphins in the '86 SB.

The Dolphins had their day in the sun in the early 70's. Griese, Czonka, Warfield, Morris, Kiick.

A 14-0 regular season, topped off with a Super Bowl victory. That's strong medicine. Certainly one of the great teams in history, and the only one to go undefeated in the regular season.

At the rate we're going, that may happen!
As long as Billick is the coach I don't think they will go for a QB. He is too set on Boeller.

It would be good times if they did get Leinart. The AFC North would be a powerhouse. Palmer vs. Roethlisberger vs. Leinart

That would be a division everyone would want to play in.
WOW...That would be incredible.

I dont see Indy losing this week....the way you beat the Bengals is run the ball and well the Colts have the number 2 runner in the league. The Colts WILL lose just not this week...youll have to wait till next week for that, when they play a little game on Monday Night.

The NFL really needs to start scheduling their Sunday and Monday Night Games better. I think they should base the first half of the season on the teams play the year before and then the second half of the season with the teams that are playing good in the current year. The whole scheduling the prime time games based on a teams preformance from the year before is just not working too well anymore.

I think they're planning such a strategy starting next season for Monday night games.....I'm not sure if this will apply to Sunday afternoon and NBC Sunday night games as well.

Thank you Mr. Maddox...you are now the difference between my Steelers being a 7-3 team and a 9-1 team. Defense played great. You sucked. Go learn how to throw a ball next time. It might help.

Well, it wasn't the prettiest of wins, but it was still a win (and a win over the Steelers). The offense played ok in the first half, and pretty badly in the second half, but we still pulled it off. I was just happy we were finally able to find the endzone (even if it was only once), and the always dependable Matt Stover kicked the winning field goal. I doubt we'll be able to pull off an upset next week against the Bengals, but at least we have the Texans to look forward to the following week.

As for our QB situation for next year, unless a miracle happens, I don't think we should keep Boller as our starter (and I've been a big Boller supporter, so for me to finally say that...). I also don't think we should draft a QB. We need to use our draft picks for some help on the O-line. We need to look to free agency to fill our QB hole...I wouldn't mind going after Rivers since Brees looks to be keeping his job there. Should be an interesting off season.

And congrats to the Colts for remaining undefeated in a big shootout with the Bengals!

That is a great record but eventually some team may surpass it. Will it be the Colts? Who knows??!!

It's been over 20 years since the last Dolphins SB appearance & over 30 years since their last SB win! And the way the team looked yesterday, it will be a looooong time before this team sees a championship...but I'm still a fan and our dayyyyy willll commmeee!
