I like the Steelers but I wouldn't call it a "killing".

Good news is Pittsburgh controls their own destiny-win their last 2 and they are in....let's hope they don't screw it up 'cause SD is nipping on their heels.

California may get a team in the playoffs after all......
We beat a team who hadnt lost in weeks by 15 at their place. They had less than 180 yards. It was a killing.

It was not a killing. It is obvious why they haven't lost in 6 weeks. Did you look at the teams they have played, St. Louis, Detroit (Two Times), Cleveland, Green Bay, Giants

28-0, 35-7, 41-17
Those are scores that show a killing.

Agreed though I would call those scores a "slaughter".

Hmmm...if those scoring opportunties were 7 points instead of FG's, then I would call it a killing or more like a slaughter. But the bottom line is scoreboard and it shows the Steelers as the victors....

I hope the Steelers run the table and make it into the tournament.....but those 2 wins aren't a given....well, 1 win....I think they beat Detroit but Cleveland worries me though it's on the Steelers home field.....'cause on any given Sunday........

Actually the Browns game is at Cleveland.

Trust me we will win. The way we played the past two weeks could beat ANYONE. We are going to win.

Ok guys, I apologize for my absence. I meant to post that I was going to be away for a bit, but unfortunately didn't get a chance to. But I have a really good reason...I got married!

I was in Disney World for 2 weeks for my wedding and honeymoon (Click here for some photos). But I kept up on my picks and here's my record through 14 games:

Week 1: 6-10
Week 2: 7-9
Week 3: 9-5
Week 4: 7-7
Week 5: 6-8
Week 6: 12-2
Week 7: 7-7
Week 8: 10-4
Week 9: 10-4
Week 10: 10-4
Week 11: 10-6
Week 12: 10-6
Week 13: 13-3
Week 14: 12-4
Week 15: 10-6

Overall: 139-85

And now, onto week 16:

Saturday, Dec. 24

Atlanta at Tampa Bay
Buffalo at Cincinnati
Dallas at Carolina
Detroit at New Orleans (San Antonio, TX)
Jacksonville at Houston
N.Y. Giants at Washington
Pittsburgh at Cleveland
San Diego at Kansas City
San Francisco at St. Louis
Tennessee at Miami
Philadelphia at Arizona
Indianapolis at Seattle (This is a tough call, but Seattle still needs to wrap up home field advantage, and with the Colts having finally lost, they probably won't play their starters for the full game)
Oakland at Denver

Sunday, Dec. 25

Chicago at Green Bay
Minnesota at Baltimore

Monday, Dec. 26

New England at N.Y. Jets

Actually we ran down the throat of the number 1 defense in the league and then beat a team that had won 6 straight at their place. Ok the Vikings arent that good, but you cant say that about the Bears.

Listen if we can run the ball against the number one defense we can do it to your Bengals. (Oh yeah, we already did it once this year) Remember, and dont forget, you beat us when our offense hadnt gotten back into rhythm from the loss of Big Ben. We have now found that rhythm. We will win out, make the playoffs and beat your Bengals like we did earlier this year.

You can see it coming...

Steeler "O" found the rhythm??!!! Oh, I don't know about that......Steelers only scored 1 TD, 3 FG's and a safety against the Vikes who aren't that good.

And......there is a possibility, however slight, that the Steelers won't make it to the playoffs.....if the Steelers, Jaguars and Chargers are tied at the end of the season, the Jaguars & Chargers move on-the Steelers go home.....I think it has to do with a conference record.....(I heard this on ESPN radio earlier today-can't remember all the intricarte details).

Three or More Clubs Tie Breaker
1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants.
2. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.)
3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.

Because none of the three teams has either lost to both or beaten both, the head-to-head sweep is not applicable and the next step, conference record, kicks in. Pittsburgh has lost 5, SD 3, and Jax 3. Even if Jax loses one, both they and SD have better conference records. Therfore Pitt goes home.

WRONG!!!!!
We beat the Chargers on a Monday night game, therefore if we are tied with them, we're in

Right now we are tied with them so as long as we win out we make the 6th seed in the playoffs and the Chargers go home.
