I take my last statement back...If the Jags lose one and only one game and the Chargers win both games, we're out. This is stupid though...we played both teams, lost to the Jags and beat the chargers so it seems to me we should be the sixth seed and the Jags the fifth if that were to happen, BUT the Chargers have to beat the Chiefs AND the Broncos plus the Jags have to lose to either the Texans or the Titans. This is a long shot folks.

Yes, that's it!

Anything can happen! Remember, the Chargers were supposed to beat my Dolphins en route to a possible championship preview showdown with the Colts. And the Colts were supposed to beat the Chargers at home en route to their place in history (second NFL team to go 14-0).

I want to see the Steelers in the playoffs. And they should beat both the Browns & the Lions....but on any given Sunday........... anything can happen. Cleveland played the Bengals tough......don't think for one moment the Browns wouldn't love to ruin the Steelers playoff chances.....

I know...we have to come out realizing the Browns are no pushover.

Santa Claus is making lots of early Chrismas deliveries here in Denver. The Pittburgh and Jax wins with the Bolts loss, means next weeks game in SD is meaningless for the home team. The surprising Cincy loss means Denver should lock up the 2 seed and a 1st week bye.

A season sweep of the Hated Ones will complete every Broncos fan's holiday wish list!

LATER: Broncos clinch the 2 spot. Who wants to upset the Colts, so we can host the AFC Title game?

Oh...I know what it is.....Its Rizzy shaking with fear as he watched the Chargers lose and the Steelers KILL the Browns 41-0.
THE STEELERS ARE BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rizzy oh rizzy your playoff life wont last long.

My last post until I get back from vacation, by then the playoff picture will be in full view and Steeler Nation will be descending upon Cincy.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

The 49ers are back, baby!

Not. They did show some signs of life, and we took the season sweep against the Rams.

I need to learn this dance.

Now that the playoffs are getting closer it looks like the same teams in the AFC are starting to play more like the contenders that they really are. Steelers win big again, Pats are rolling, Denver just keeps winning, and the Jags are taking care of business. Cincy had an off week against the Bills but they clinched last week so they did not really have anything to play for. My prayers are with the Colts and Dungy as they mourn his son. The playoffs can't get here soon enough.

I'm new to Sirius so I've got a question for some of you veterans. I noticed tonight they carried the Westwood One Broadcast of Monday Night Football.. do they carry the Westwood One games on Sundays as well, or Carry Westwood One's Super Bowl/Playoff broadcasts in addition to the local team feeds?

I was hoping someone could remember from last season

Sirius uses the Westwood One (National) broadcast for Monday, Sunday, and Thursday nights.

They had something like 6 feeds for the Super Bowl last year. Both teams feeds, the national feed, a Spanish feed, (I think) a German feed, and maybe more!

I had a pretty horrible week, going 6-10. But at least the Ravens won and played a good game

Week 1: 6-10

Week 4: 7-7
Week 5: 6-8
Week 6: 12-2
Week 7: 7-7
Week 8: 10-4
Week 9: 10-4
Week 10: 10-4
Week 11: 10-6
Week 12: 10-6
Week 13: 13-3
Week 14: 12-4
Week 15: 10-6
Week 16: 6-10

Overall: 145-95

And now on to the final week of the regular season with my picks highlighted as always...
