Default Jim Rome?

I used to drive through an area that had ESPN radio on AM, and they had Jim Rome on at 11:00 central, right after Cowherd. Any idea why he's not on Sirius? I suspect ESPN doesn't own him, thus he's not bound to appear on their show.

Please.... Not this again. Jim Rome is under contract with Premier Networks and can be heard in just about any 3rd-rate market around the country. If you want to hear Jim Rome, go to his website and you'll find an affiliate just about anywhere, and you can "talk Smack" and listen to the low-brow and the unemployed call The Diminutive One and scream "My team rules, your team sucks, RACK ME! OUT!!" until it makes you wet the bed. I doubt the demand is over-whelming for the sports-minded Sirius Subscibers to demand that Rome be on Sirius.

I asked about this a few months ago, and I go beat up really bad . See, I can't open my left eye anymore.

Anywho, you never know what the future hold. I would like to listen to him. Colin Cowherd isn't too bad, though. He's on ESPN radio.

You know what's really funny about this? He got really big when he was on XTRA 690.

What ever happen to "Hacksaw" Hamilton?

I take from your comments you don't care for Rome? Though you've got some of the show down pat, so you must listen to the show. Oh, and in my 5th rate market here in MN he's not on, nor is most anything, which is why I subscribe to Sirius. It's just entertainment man, lighten up.

That's funny!!! You remember XTRA690 and "Smacksaw" too?!

Rome is soooo tired and old. The show he does in 2005 is the same, tired show he was doing in 1992, only it was on So-Cal only.

Don't let it bother you. I've come to realize it's nothing personal when comments are made about something I've brought up. For the most part, everyone here is helpful and likes to help out others.

We do like to make a little fun of things, though, too. If you stick around a while, you'll see.

And I know what you mean about radio in Northwest Minnesota. I've been up to Warroad a couple of times, and their ain't nothing around there. Maybe a farm report, but that's about it.
