Default Sirius Commercials

I saw 5 Sirius commercials just in the first quarter of Giant/Bears game. 3 were to do with cross marketing with Chrysler, Jeep and Ford, then a sirius only commercail played 2x. Great to see.

NOt only that but I think Sirius is also sponsoring the post game report on NBC.
The thing that bugs me about the Sirius Marketing ideaology is that, XM is smart and puts their signs in every arena / stadium in the NHL / MLB. You hardly see any Sirius logos inside of NFL stadiums, and you would think youd wanna really expose yourself to your hardcore group of fans, that is fans that go to the games.

It's funny that you are critical of Sirius marketing. If you read the XM message boards, you will see that most XM'ers are critical of the lack of advertising and marketing and that's why Sirius has been kicking their butt at retail and has the Buzz. XM has recently changed their approach and is doing more targeted marketing and pushing their music and the "Are you On ? " message. Even so, the consensus is that Sirius is winning the war and could potentially destroy XM at retail and with net subs in 4th quarter. I personally believe that they will both get their message across and Sirius will beat XM out by a good margin, but XM will hold their own and do better than most are expecting. I see Sirius hitting their goal of 6.3, and XM beating their very conservative y/e target of 7.9 on the high end by 100k. It's going to be an oustanding quarter for both.

Speaking from a shareholders point of view, I really hope you're right. I think Sirius is doing an excellent job of advertising by putting a lot into the premiere game of the week and sponsoring it's postgame show.
