Yeah, whoever thought that Miller and Kornheiser were what MNF needed should be shot. What exactly did they think two sarcastic pretentious NE intellectual non-football players would bring to the table? And when Miller flopped, why try again with Kornheiser?

I wouldn't put Dennis Miller and Kornheiser in the same class. Yes, they both have sarcastic personalities that rub some people the wrong way. But, Kornheiser has spent a career in sports journalism, which somewhat qualifies him for his current position on MNF.
I will admit I rather him on PTI than on MNF, though.

Kornheiser is an acquired taste. I don't like him on MNF but PTI with Kornheiser and Wilbon is fantastic. Dennis Miller had nothing going in other than being famous.

Kornheiser and Wilbon have chemistry... I love how they interact on PTI. Madden and Michaels have pretty good chemistry.... There is NO chemistry on MNF now, but I'd rather listen to Kornheiser than Theisman ANY DAY. Theisman is just an opinionated baffoon.... so many times his remarks have no basis in reality, their just strange musing that arise out of his rattled brain.

I agree, but a career in sports journalism doesn't make you a shoe in for MNF. I, too, think Kornheiser is a bust on MNF. I also can not understand why Bryant Gumbel is the play by play guy for NFL network. He is terrible! He is often unaware of what is going on down on the field, and if you listen really closely, you can hear when Collinsworth rolls his eyes at a comment or play call by Gumbel.

I enjoy Mike & Mike also, but having satellite radio makes it almost impossible to listen because of all the commercials. Once you get used to rarely hearing a commercial it drives you crazy hearing practically 30 minutes per hour of them.

I listen to ESPN radio a lot (including Mike & Mike). One thing drive me nutso though....the promos Sirius runs on ESPN radio SIX times an hour, EVERY hour that have three piano tones at the end. Sometimes I can't take it because at some points of the hour they run the promo three minutes apart from one another (on the hour and again at three minutes after the hour).

Does this grind on anyone else?

I listen to Mike and Mike when I can, but it's mostly when Stern is on vacation. They are a great show. I listened to them for a long time when I didn't have Stern access
