Post Notre Dame football

I hope that Brady Quinn and the Irish can get this done, they are underdogs but I am still hoping

Me too. You never know how these bowl games will work themselves out.

Well, that was good for a half. After that, it was as one-sided as it gets.

So much for the echos from the sky. 9 straight bowl losses now for the Irish.

I hate being dismissive of a team like this, but I'm with you on that cooper. Just looking back at the year they had, they lost to both BCS teams they faced by at least 20 points (3 if you include last night). That just doesn't happen unless the Irish aren't at their level. And it may just be worse next year given who they are losing.

They're beginning to remind me of Alabama: a school who won't let go of days long passed.

EDIT to add: at the same time, I don't blame the Sugar Bowl for taking them. They have to sell tickets somehow, and Notre Dame is a guaranteed draw. The only other team that could have been taken was West Virginia. A nice team but not the draw.

not exactly the game Quinn wanted tyo have in front of all those scouts in the stands. Do you think this game hurt his draft status?

Quinn didn't have a great game, but he'll still get drafted high, I think.
He also had the misfortune of having the other team's quarterback play some amazing football. Russell definitely helped his draft status, if he decides to go pro.
