Sweet revenge for "The Shot." May it be the first of many losses...

VA Tech beat Duke. Stop the presses. Tech almost beat them in Durham last year and they beat them in Blacksburg. All I can say is where is Tech when it matters during tourney time? That's right, it takes a page from Tech Football..they don't win when it really matters. It's not like this was the NCAA Tourney. Duke isn't all that strong so I am surprised that VT needed overtime to beat them.

You need to embrace your adopted home state! Don't make me drive over to Bedford with a giant Va. Tech foam finger for you...

Thumbs up

Couldn't have said it better Gridiron. Anytime that Dook loses it is a good day. You can bet that coach K will have them practicing 7 days this week. The only thing I would have rather have seen is that if the Tarheels would have given them their first loss in the ACC

You're a Marquette graduate and you're making fun of Virginia Tech football? Marquette hasn't played football in 47 years! That's about as long as it's been since the Eagles won a league title of any kind.

Too rich!

Coach K could have Duke going 8 days a week on practices, but it's not going to change the fact that this team will not be able to get 80 points a game like the Duke teams of the past. It's a fact that was going to eventually get them; that it happened on the first conference game is not much of a surprise. Add to that 22 turnovers and the only surprise to me is that it took overtime. And yes, the thought that they got us back for that game last year is not lost on me.

Got Georgia Tech up next on Wednesday. I'm hopeful, but we'll see.

CF - Do you think I care that Marquette has a football team? Heck No! I am pointing out a fact of Tech football..they have a great regular season and then poof...I could really care less about Tech or UVA football because I am an NFL fan. Also, I have adopted my home state quite well..get my shine in Franklin county..the moonshie capital of the world!

Enough about Football, lets relish in the fact that Duke got beat, at home, with a unDuke like 22 turnovers, and the fact that VT finally got some revenge!
