It's in the cards for Manning and the Colts to win this one.

I don't know. Lovie has been talking to God, and God is telling him they will win. You can't argue with that.

Da Bears would win by lapping everyone 499 times. Da Bears would win the Cup after the first race!

Still like the Colts in the Super Bowl though!

Except for the fact that the 1984 Bears advanced to the conference championship game and were primed for a Super Bowl run in '85 - and when they got there, they met a deer-in-the-headlights Patriot wild card team, not a veteran team like the Colts.

Default It will be....

Intresting. If Rex has a below average game the Bears will Lose. If he has a above average game , they will win comfortably. If Rex has just an average game, they will barely win. The bEars defense has to play big and not allow big passing plays and a lot of Yards, espically if the offense is struggling. I predict, when the BEars have the ball, they will throw long in the first series......

I feel the same way as long as the Colts don't turn the ball over or kick the ball to Hester.

But Hester is hit or miss. He had fumbled 11 times but only lost one. The Bears cannot turn the ball over and give Manning a short field. The Defense must get turnovers and the offense must run and pass with success.

Chicago teams have been fantastic closers as of late. In the last 20 years the Bears, White Sox and Bulls have been to the finals 8 times and they won "decisively" in every single case.

A couple points to consider:

- Indy is in no way an offensive machine outside of their dome. Over the last 2 and post season they have scored over 20 points just once and that was in a loss to Houston.

- Chicago defense was #1 in the league in yards allowed per pass play and they were thrown on mor than anyone excpet one team. Clearly their pass defense has improved dramatically. Everyone is saying Manning will destroy them like 2004 (when Urlacher didn't play), but this defense is much improved and faster.

- Indy defense has improved against the run, but there is no way the worst regular season run defense in the modern era magically becomes the '85 Bears because they get Bob Sanders back. If Kreutz, Garza, and Brown can control the middle of the line (and I believe they will), the Bears will pound Benson and Jones all day long and that will set up Grossman for play action on first nd second downs where Freeney will not be able to pin back his ears and rush full bore.

On the flip side, there's no way Manning gets shut down, but he has a tendency to get impatient if they only give him the underneath stuff. I expect at least 2 INT's from Peyton and we'll see how well their receivers hold on because you know the Bears will be looking to strip all day long.

Special teams also favor the Bears and not just Devin Hester. Maynard has been a weapon all year, Gould has been Vinatari's equal, and our cover teams have been outstanding.

Final Score Bears 34 - Colts 24

Who Thinks Brian Urlacher will hav e ahuge game? Everyone is telling him, he can never be the best linebacker in Chicago .... Which is true because of Dick Butkis but don;t you think he will come and make huge plays to show his critics how good he is?

When Artie Lange picked the Cults yesterday, as he calls them, I knew I was going big on the Bears.

Watch for Dallas Clark for the Colts, he's going to go up the middle like it's his job.

well, it is his job, thats why he gets paid, and you don't think that chicago has watched film of his last 2 games where he went wild?? Of course they have. Chicago's linebackers are the fastest in the NFL, far better than what the pats had on the field when he reached 137 yards, they will cover him, and he will not have a huge game. I'm not saying he won't get a couple catches, he just won't have another big game, he will be taken out of the equation. I also say manning gets sacked at least 3 times. I think Chicago's D is gonna have a monster game. Sure the colts will move the ball, that can't be stopped, but they will not allow them in the end zone too many times.

another thing I was thinkin about, the colts gave up 34 points at home, I don't see how everyone is still strokin that defense of theirs, especially when they have injured dbs that might not play.
And chicago's defense isn't like the pats defense that you played last time, they had players on the field who were just getting over the flu, and players in there that no one even knew who they were. Except for the 2 guys on IR, everyone else is 100% healthy, the colts will not have an easy time scoring.

On a side note, isn't it great watching all the stuff on like the nfl network and listening on the sirius nfl radio Bears and Colts fans, its only our teams they are talkin about and I love it, cause it doesn't happen too often.
