Food for thought: a caller on Sirius NFL 124 last evening said that in the years without Bill Belichick on his staff, Parcells has a losing record overall as a head coach.

I think Parcells was a great coach, but the key word there is was. He's past his prime, it's time for him to ride off in the sunset and wait for his HOF admission. I don't see why anyone would wanna coach Dallas because Jones just wants a proxy to coach through. Most strong coaches won't want the job because of that. Parcells was tough enough to keep Jones at bay, and I think that may be part of the reason he retired. I don't think Cowher or Lovie Smith want to deal with Jerry Jones. I think Jones should just name himself head coach and see where it goes!

PS Stay the fuck away from Jeff Fisher and Norm Chow you dirty cowboys.
