I don't know why teams hire him when he doesn't stick around. Hopefully he stays retired now. Great coach though. He will certainly live on in Giants lore for a long time.

I like him as a coach, but he reminds me a little of Larry Brown...

He's old (65). I bet TO, the loses, and the ups and downs of coaching took a toll on him. He's retired before, who knows if it will last.

I'd still take him on the Lions (Assuming he can get rid of Millen since no one else can no matter how bad they do)

Yeah, no one can fix that team until Millen is gone.

Being a Giant fan, I'll always be a fan of his. His teams always played hard, and those Giants teams gave me a lot of good memories.

At his age, I think he's finally reached a point where he'll stay retired.

He'll also be remembered as having developed a number of his assistants to make them head coaches - Belichek, Weis, Fox, etc...

Lightbulb

I wonder if Dallas would go after Bill Cowher. They would have to buy out his one year remaining of his current contract with Pittsburgh. It's probably too much red tape.

Jerry Jones has the $$ to do anything he wants. You Cowher will cost some major bucks.

He's another coach I'd take, but Cowher in Dallas would be a great slap in the face to the Pitt fans...

I have never seen a receiver drop passes as he does.
