I didn't do it. Once guy posted on XMFAN he added best of to his Sirius lifetime for $150 one time charge (+tax). When my XM Canada sub in my car expires and I add the radio to my US account I may add the best of Sirius to that XM radio to get the NFL (maybe). But as a dual sub its kind of pointless for me. If I was a single XM sub I would have gone for the BestOfSirius package though. If I was a single Sirius sub I probably would not have done the best of XM. I don't listen to one of the 'best' channels they selected with exception to the occasional NHL game.
From what I have been reading, XM seems to have been overwhelmed by demand for this package. They site has been up and down all day and the CSR system has been the same. They have people who have yet to be able to add it despite a days worth of trying. It would appear that Sirius has not had the same volume but given the differences in the packages this is really not a surprise.
So short answer is you should be able to add it to your lifetime sub either as a one time or a $4/month (I assume).
