There must have been an error with my browser when I loaded the page, because it looked like all the XM channels had their own column when I first saw the page. Thanks for pointing that out. :-)

Does anyone know if the "home" broadcasts really are from the respective school's radio network? I've heard that XM sometimes does their own feed that is neutral to each school.

If so, I wonder how happy the schools are with that, not allowing their fans to hear their own broadcasters?

Even with what I'm seeing with today's available schedule, I'm not convinced that "Best of XM" is worth it. Granted, I know channels are limited, and the way it's worked out you can hear each SEC game, but there's something to be said for hearing the game described by people who want the same team to win as you do. At least with XM, it still seems you can get both feeds of the game.

Other "home" broadcasts? Do you think they are using their own announcers?

Ha! Technically, a game or so a week is eligible for a national broadcast by ESPN or other radio producer, but that is rare. I wouldn't worry about that.

I was very happy to see the SEC added to the "best of XM." I will now be ordering it. Good for Sirius!

I thought it was a little absurd, but the person I heard the comment from was convinced that the broadcast they heard was an XM one and was nothing more than someone reading stats. It didn't make sense that XM would use their own crew when it would be a lot easier to use what's already there.

I guess, like me, growing up as an 'Bama fan and being familiar with other SEC broadcasts, hearing a game called from another conference might sound a little generic by comparison. Not hearing any enthusiasm come from a PAC-10 or Ivy League announcer, probably did seem like an uninterested 3rd party was calling the game.
Thanks for the clarification!
