I have had mine for a few weeks now & find them very good. Took a little gettign used to, getting the placement of the headphones on me head for the best sound. Much much better than the painphones!

Put me on the list as just getting a pair for my SL100. (sorry Taylor) Using my AAA discount 15% and free shipping from AAA, and also applying the "Sirius15" discount at checkout I paid just over $30 with tax. What an improvement, two bars in my entire yard. Will be good to go for mowing....

It's all good. I can't blame you. We got them in but priced them at $59.99 because we just can't keep them in stock and the when we place an Altec Lansing order for them it's a 3 month lead time, so our order for today would get here say in June

Talking Got em and luv em!

Oh what a joy tonight's walk with the new Altec's was. The original headsets felt like someone shoved a couple of sticks in my ear and they constantly slipped off. These were soft and comfortable and the reception was much better, as I didn't lose the signal under trees as much as with the original. Worth every penny of the $43 it cost delivered from www.sirius.com. A bit less if you use that "subscriber" code mentioned above. Go for it!

I used my new antenna headphones today while walking in a wooded area. They are much more comfortable than the old ones and I rarely lost a signal despite being in the woods.

I got my new headset from TSS Radio a few days ago, and have used them now for a couple days.

I also find that they are comfortable to wear, and stay in place better than the original painphones. I used to always listen to non-live content when I was out in the yard, or walking for exercise, since the patchy reception and discomfort of the original phones would distract and bother me as I moved around.

With the new headphones I was able to listen to Howard or Bubba live during my 2 mile daily walk, or to music while doing stuff in the yard. No drops in signal on the same route that usually had frequent drop outs. I'm very happy with the new headphones on my S100 and also on the service from TSS Radio.

These things are awesome, I even find myself using them for inhome WiFi listening, something I would have never thought of doing with the painphones.

Also, it seems like these things do a better job of holding onto the signal.

I've used my new headsets on my vacation and they are way more comfortable and seem to be better at reception too. Well worth the investment.

Default My Stiletto Painphones are a Pain in the @#$

I officially have head phone envy. Sent TSS my e-mail address over three weeks ago without a reply since they were out of stock. The website still lists a zero balance. Is TSS the only place I can buy reasonably priced antenna headphones for a stiletto? TIA

Default TSS Rocks (as usual)

I must have posted my joy at owning Altec Lansing headphones in another thread. Got them from TSS in late June. Everything worked smoothly till yesterday. Go to walk the dog and no reception. Recordings were fine but no bars.

Called TSS today and found out their warranty is 30 days and the manufacturers 6 months. Josh gave me a number for the parent company (Plantronics). The CSR there said the Altec Lansing division makes the phones and forwarded my call. The CSR at AL said they stopped making the AHP 202SIRW model three years ago (oh crap). Called back Josh and explained my situation and asked if that meant I was out of luck. TSS gets a 5 star thumbs up for responding a few moments later with, "We'll take care of you".

Got an e-mail with a three day USPS priority mail tracking number. They're sending me replacement phones (free of charge) with a business reply label to send them the inoperative phones with a note attached about what's wrong, who I contacted and when the original date of purchase was.

Needless to say I will be doing business with TSS early and often.
