Post Stiletto 2 no WiFi

It worked great for 2 week and now it cannot connect to the network. Nothing changed on home or office network. It can detect the Wifi networks but cannot connect. I tried removing the network and then it found them but no connection. Any ideas appreciated.

Have you tried rebooting everything? I know my router gets screwy now and again with my PC and has to be powercycled. And the SL2 needs a complete shutdown at least 1ce a week to be free of quirks.

Hi Gary,

What router are you using to connect to? Also, is the router encrypted? I had problems with my Linksys WRT54G using WEP encryption with my SL2. I upgraded my router encryption to WPA2 and have not had any real issues since. I did notice that my SL2 occasionally tried to use the same IP address as one of my home network computers which caused some issues but that ended once I assigned IP addresses to each device connected to the router (which is 6).

Let us know any other details you can provide and we'll get your Stiletto Internet up and running!

SuperFan:

I have never been able to connect to my wireless router when encryption is active. I have a D-link 2XR wireless router. I can't find an option for WPA2 (it has WPA) encryption. Do you suggest I upgrade my router, is a encryption connection problem common with the SL2?

I use WAP (not WAP2). I had to upgrade my router's firmware to get it to work.
