Default Stiletto post-SIRIUS/XM channel update issues

My Stiletto has received channel updates with SIRIUS/XM alignment, and some of the recordings like The Beat 36 has disappeared. I can only find them under artist or general recording list, not the by channels.

Anyone else has similar problem or other issues?

Plus, it erased all of my presets

Default No new channels in Wi-Fi mode

I'm not seeing the new channels on my SL-100 in Wi-Fi mode. They're there in Satellite mode, though. The new channel FAQ says they are available online, and I can see them online when streaming through the Sirius website, but not on the Stiletto on Wi-Fi.

I have not yet gotten the wifi channel updates on my Stiletto 2 either. They were available promptly on the satellite side.

BTW, it's good to see this place back online. I can only hope DAB and the guys stick with it, as it's the ONLY reasonable source of this sort of info I've known since my Day 1 with Sirius.

Ever since the channel change, I have been unable to "Love" songs on what is now BPM. I am not pleased with this and I am thinking of calling customer service to let them know.

Pete,

Have you tried calling Sirius about the problem? I emailed them last week, and have not yet gotten a reply.

Believe me, Sirius has bigger fish to fry (so to speak) - like weathering GWB's SECOND recession - than worrying about a tiny handful of consumer complaints.

After all, those complaining already have subscriptions AND receivers. I'm positive that in our current sucky economy very few additional people are signing up for satellite radio.

True, however, that same sucky economy should make them very concerned about losing subscribers by giving bad/no customer service. I also just discovered that Lithium is now being censored. I swear, if it weren't for Howard I might already be gone.

Default Update On WiFI

My Stiletto works perfectly with the satellite. The probem I'm having is with the WiFi. Specifically channel 29 which is now the Loft. On WiFi mode, it shows as Sirius Disorder and plays nothing but Led Zeppelin tracks. Obviously I'm getting the Led Zep channel instead of the Loft. I called Sirius several times and have been told everything is working perfectly on the internet whch is true. When I go to the website and play channel 29 it displays and plays the music from that channel. This is only happening with channel 29 so far as I can tell. The reason this is really bothering me is that the Loft is the only music channel on XM that I really like. And it's the only one that's not working properly. It seems like the customer service reps either think I'm crazy or just too stupid to put on the correct channel because they keep insisting everything is fine.

Is anyone else having this problem with channel 29 on the WiFi mode?

Gary,

I see the exact same thing. Channel 29 in the channel list says that it's Disorder. When I select it, it says "The Loft" at the top of the display and Led Zeppelin is playing. This is on WiFi on a SL100.

They have really screwed some stuff up!

What gets me is not so much that they initially screwed this up. It's that when you call them and let them about the problem, you can't get someone on the phone who can actually help you. The last person I spoke with was understanding, but the issue was unresolved. She said she did locate someone who works there who had a Stiletto, but they couldn't get it to connect to the internet. What??? She told me that they were going to escalate the problem. That was two days ago and still the same problem persists. I sent an email a few days ago as well and still have not received a response.

Isn't there some way we can get in touch with someone in Sirius who can fix this problem? It really can't be that hard.

This is the type of issue which really frustrates me because there's no need for it to continue.

As a fellow owner of a Stiletto 2, I share your pain. But, lets get real. Sirius has cared less about updating the channel logos in the past, and now that the two companies have merged, they are going to focus on newer projects like the XMP3. I wouldnt be so pissed off if they would just release a SDK so we could update the channels/graphics ourselves.

To quote a recent fark.com headline..

Sirius/XM to the FCC: We promise to behave if you let us be a monopoly. FCC: OK, but you two kids behave. SiriusXM: Yeah, fark the customers and the promises we made to the government. FCC & customers: lol wut?

No. I figured I'd give it a week or two before complaining. It is frustrating, though, because the timing and scope of the channel changes had to have been known for many weeks, and all they need to do is beam us the wifi updates. Nothing new under the sun here, just something they've done many times before.

Angry Loving Songs

Since the channel update I can't love songs on the new channels. Anyone else having this issue? will it change?

I'm pretty disappointed with the change overall.

I have this problem as well and I am going to call Sirius to let them know I am not happy about it.
