As a Mod I can understand your frustration with people not reading the manual before asking questionns however, the manual is far from complete. Especially with regards to the wifi connection. Such as;
no documentation on port opening, no documentation on initial activiation (over and above the online one). I'm sure there is more but I've already found these two and I've only owned the unit for a few hours and am pretty frustrated as the tech support couldn't answer my questions.

i just bought a ST4 and had the unversal car kit professionally installed. I then won a Stiletto in a contest on SFN.com! Lucky me! My question is can i pull the wires out of the ST4's universal car kit and put them successfully into the stiletto car kit.

Yes the Stiletto and the ST4 are 5 volt units. It should be an easy swap out.

No one has figured out how to change or download any graphics to the Stiletto like we are able to do for the S50.

But don't that stop you from trying...

Actually that's a good question to ask in next Monday's Chat...

What about the sportster replay and stiletto? I'm hooked up with the sportster replay, but want to buy a stilletto and install that in my car.

You will have to switch out the power cords. The Sportster Replay is a 12v unit.

The antenna will fit in the Stiletto dock.

Default This is not in the FAQs AFAIK

Today after listening to radio replay all day in my office, I got in the car and put my SL100 in the car dock - "Error please wait" came up..Unit rebooted, I went into sat mode - No audio! Switched to recordings and played fine. Back to sat and still nada. Took out of the cradle, pulled the battery (all this on the PA turnpike) rebooted and low and behold audio from satellite. So now I'm home, put in home dock no trouble. Except - went to wifi and asked me for my password (yeah sure I know it - 32 characters) - looked it up, entered and ok connect to wifi. Long winded, but did I do something wrong when putting in the car dock from radio replay. Thanks.

Default Trying to Decide

Okay, so I'm trying to decide if I should buy a Stiletto or not. And if I do, should I get the S10 or wait to spring for the S100. I've got an MP3 player with a 1gb card that I don't ever fill up and rarely use, so the storage of
MP3's isn't a major issue.
One thing about the S10 that I am confused about, is the satellite live or recorded? I know they both have recording features but is the S10 solely recorded replay? Some of the reviews I've read has lead me to think this way.
I would love some input from those who own them. My primary reasons for buying it would be use in the car and while working outside in the summer.

The 100 is much more flexible. Especially if you can use wifi. Working outside around the house I find the WiFi to be a great help. I don't have to use the antenna headphones. Unless you have a repeater near you you have to use the antenna headphones to get any type of signal without cutting out. In my case my wifi reaches the back yard and garage just fine. I tend to use it with the boombox too.

Both the s10 and s100 give you live reception, the issue is in how you Love or save songs and the amount of time each one can save. Even if you have an Ipod, its nice to be able to build a collection of songs from the radio content by hitting the love button. each song is saved just like buying a song off of itunes and available to play at any time.

With the 100 you also can move over your mp3 songs and have them available as well. In my case I use it a lot to listen to podcasts, but of course your mp3 player could do that but just another thing to carry around.

You would be surprised how quickly the memory on the sl100 fills up with radio replays and other recorded content. I constantly have to go back and delete old shows I tend to have have my stiletto record those shows between midnight and 6am so I have good content to listen to when I'm at the gym or otherwise not in satellite mode.

Get the 100 it's worth the extra dollars IMHO.

You may wan to reword that, as the 'are-eye-hay-hay' thinks those words in a sentence are bad. hm-kay?

The way i see it it saves me the hassle of ripping my cd's and records and putting them on a HD mp3 player. Though I still should do that before the older Cds get really bad! Who woulda thought the good old Vinyl album would outlast Cd's!

Nope, they already were paid very well by Sirius for this feature. Remember DRM? That's why that loved song only works on one and only stiletto who loved it.
