Default Stiletto FAQ and Techical Bulletins, Recovery Procedure, ZAP Updates (5/27/07)

In an effort to clean up all the stickied post, I have made a list of all them below. We had gotten so many stickies that they were basically being ignored. We will only sticky new information and only for a limited time. Each of those will be listed here for a quick reference. If there are any others that I need to add let me know.

The following are not addressed in the FAQ; Here are some links to threads in which these topics were discussed or fixes and other information is provided.

Is it just me or is the blackground and text black on the sirius FAQ page?

I read the FAQ and have and I still have a couple questions.

The unit will record a 6 segment. Did they add the ability to stop listening to the 6 hour segment then resume at a later time. This is still a huge problem with the S50.

How does Fast Forward and reverse work? Is it one fixed rate?

When you exit a recording and then start it again, it automatically starts right where you left off. It's friggin sweet.

For me the text is black(i.e. invisible) in the Firefox browser and white in the Internet Explorer browser. They definitely did not design this to be compatible with the most browsers.

It remembers where you last stopped and picks up where you left off.

Are you using another browser besides IE? I never looked at it except with IE. I have to use IE due to active X and web based software that we use at the office, so I don't generally bother with other browsers anymore.

Clearly they should have considered those using other browsers. I think the text needs to be larger too.

Default RE: Moving Around...

If I'm listening to Howard (or any other commercial programming), is there a way to bypass the commercials by fast forwarding?

Thanks for your help.

Howard makes it easy. If you are playing recorded content, or are listening slower then real time. ( You may have paused a while ) Just press the right side >> one time and it goes to the next message displayed on the screen. During commercials, they usually have the name of the product they are advertising. i.e. STUBHUB etc. Keep doing it for each commercial. If you go too far, just pres the left side of the dial << one time. Now if you HOLD DOWN the right or left side the replay will fast forward a few seconds at a time allowing you to hear where you are. It's a slower way to move forward or back, but it moves quicker than live.

Hope this helps.
