Default Soloist Stiletto out of Sync

I'm having a problem with stiletto and Soloist - One says Hello the other says Goodbye

Here's what happened:

I'm watching the Pittsburg KC football game on TV with the volume down and listening to the game on Ch 123 on the stiletto in the soloist.

All of a sudden it is quiet.

I look over the stiletto display is dark and the soloist is still showing the clock.

I press the power button and the soloist says Goodbye and the stiletto turns on.

I then try the remote and the Stiletto goes to sleep and the soloist says Hello.

I finally pull the radio out of the dock and turn it off and on. It seems to go to sleep and wake up ok.

I plug it back in and now it is back in sync.

I don't think I had any sleep timers or alarms running that would of turned it off.

The unit was warm, but nothing out of the ordinary.

I guess I'll call this a glitch. It just was a little wierd.

I think the Beatles said it best.. "I don't know why you say goodbye I say Hello"

CraigW will become famous soon enough

I've gotten mine out of synch before also. Never had it just go off like that, but have disconnected power from the Soloist and had things get out of synch. So far I've been able to just put the Stiletto to sleep with the Soloist off when out of synch and things have been ok afterwards.

johnl is on a distinguished road
Default Here is what the manual recommends

"If you insert a plug and play radio, Soloist will control the power supply to the radio. If your Sirius radio does not power up when Soloist is turned on, it was likely switched off when you removed it from the previous cradle. You will need to switch it on once you insert it in Soloist. You must turn Soloist on prior to attempting to switch on your Sirius radio. After it is powered up, Soloist will switch your radio on and off. Once successfully docked in Soloist, it is never necessary to turn off a plug and play radio using the power button the radio.

Refer to page 21 of the manual.
