You just told my story. Heck I've already dropped mine 3 times, but fortunately all three times it had the iPod case on it, which is nicely padded. I actually thought about just getting the overlays and just continuing to use this case since it fits perfectly in it. But the only problem is you really can't use it on the go in this iPod case, whereas I will be able to with the Stiletto Leather case. I mean I am not into Leather like you Mike.. but I gotta have one. hehehe

I've been lucky in that I've only dropped mine in the car where it hit the rug so no damage yet. No case yet either. Still using the S50 bag.

I would like to get the ShieldZone overlay but I'm a bit weary if it will still fit in the dock. The fit is super tight with the dock compared to the S50. I think ShieldZone will have to keep their cover off the areas where the Stiletto touches the dock.

I have a Treo 650 overlay laying around here. I'll probably put it on the display and then put the Speck overlay on top of that. Should fit ok. I don't have the Soloist so with any luck I'll be able to keep it in the rugged case 90% of the time.

Not sure how I did it, but I already have some areas with fine, hairline scratches. I thought about trying to return it within the 30 day period to Best Buy, but figured it would be a hassle getting another one and transferring my service. It just eats away at my soul knowing that I already have some scratches! I need a case!

Those scratches will buff right out with a soft cotton cloth and a dab of Brasso metal polish.

That's why I have't gone portable with mine yet. It's killing me, but scratches and dings would eat at me. I'll wait until TSS has the cases in stock and I have one before I really go portable.

Our Leather Cases were shipped out yesterday and will be here one day earlier than expected on Friday. We now turned on the Stiletto Protective Overlay for ordering as well as the Stiletto Leather Case.

Also, I found out none of the Cases will fit when docked in the Home/Car/Boombox/Executive Docks. And it's not recommended that people have the cases on while Charging AND Listening, which creates the most heat. Simply doing one of those at a time shouldn't be too bad, but Charging and Listening is the most strenuous.

Taylor,

I'm assuming that if you order the Leather Case that it will protect the display? or do you need to order the Protective Overlay as well?

Thanks for your response.

Oh my god, you people are killing me with your talk about using Brasso on your kits! Has anybody actually done this? Isn’t it a little harsh?
I have a product that I use on the plastic parts on my pinball machine that’s made specifically for plastics. It’s called Novus. Check it out on line at http://bayareaamusements.com/Merchan...tegory_Code=CL his is just one of the places that has it. A quick web search will take you to a half dozen websites about pinball machine maintenance that explain how to use it and where to get it. If you’ve used the Brasso and it works, that’s great, do your thing. It scares me though.

While you’re waiting for the proper screen overlays to come in, you can use an overlay from a PDA cut down to size to protect your screen.

I’m pretty curious about the leather flap over case. How does the radio go in and out? Somebody said that it was pretty easy.

It looks like the bottom has a flap that opens up. I'm assuming it might have velcro or something holding it closed. The radio should just slide in.

My leather Speck case for my S50 had a magnetic flap where it was held down with a little magnet of some kind. It opened very easily, yet did not come loose.

Taylor, I ordered my stuff at 1:00 today and it is not here yet. What's the deal? Come on!! All joking aside, does the leather case have display protection?
