I brought it to the Best Buy down the road. Told him it wasn't working. He directed me to another guy that it turns out I graduated High School with. He took it in the back, messed around with it, and somehow fixed it.
Does this make everyone feel any better???
I feel all warm and fuzzy!

The real question is how do you feel about it? Our feelings aren't relevant.

I feel GREAT! You guys really made me feel like shit though.... Otherwise I would have asked for a new unit! He asked if I wanted one, and I said if they could fix it, thats fine.

i dont understand this. there are a few posts on here about people receiving extra SL100 FM mods and even some receiving extra car kits along with a 2nd free FM mod from crutchfield and no one was making those people feel like shit about being dishonest. instead people were PM'ing those members making offers to buy that extra piece off of them.

if i was you id go get a new one.

Well I don't think it was any ones intent to make you feel that way. Again my point was that I didn't want to see you go and say I dropped this thinking they would cover it under the warranty. They may not have, so then you'd be stuck with a broken Stiletto. Your OP made it sound like as long as you have a 4 year warranty they would take it back for any reason. Like I told you I wouldn't have even posted this, I would have just gone and handled up on it without a thought.

When you throw stuff like this out on the table, you'll always get a variety of opinions, many of which you may or may not like. That is the nature of forums. In the end the decision is always yours regardless of what anyone says on a forum.

The main thing is apparently your situation is solved!

The only reason I posted was to see if anyone had a solution to the broken head phone jack. I wasn't sure if maybe something was stuck in or what. I don't know why I mention bringing it back to Best Buy. But I learned my lesson!!
