Default Adhesive Mount Question?

After unscrewing the adhesive part (plastic ring connector) from the mounting bracket in order place on my dash and let sit a while to adhere, I screwed it back on and the radio is real loose and will not hold in position (stand) and will swing back and forth as I turn. Did I loose a part? Any ideas?

Make sure you still have that little piece of plastic in between the two parts you screwed together.

Either that or you screwed it together incorrectly.
