Default Do 2 cars require 2 Car Docks?

I plan on plugging the Stiletto Car Dock into the auxiliary inputs of my 2 cars. Is it possible for me to just purchase a second antenna and power adapter for a second car and then just move the car dock/stiletto to my 2nd car whenever I feel like it? How much do second antennae and Stiletto power adapters go for, if they are even available?

on ebay a new car antenna goes for about $20 to $30
and you can use a s50 car plug since it's also suspouse to be 5v instead of 12.

here is a auction for a s50 car adapter
http://cgi.ebay.com/SIRIUS-S50-5V-Ve...QQcmdZViewItem

this is the only such s50 car adapter on ebay now so if you want it i would suggest you get it quick.

so for about $40 you could buy a adapter and antenna and not have to spend the extra money on a dock.

I plan on doing this too. But I will just get a 5v adapter (somewhere) and buy a Sirius one which is only $20 at CC right now and just using its antenna.

Where do you plan on plugging the car antenna in to?

The car antenna will not plug into the actual Stiletto. You need a dock.

If you spend $40 on ebay + shipping, you might as well just spend $70 on a car dock.

I think the question is. Do you plan on mounting the dock in two cars, or just let it sit on the seat next to you.

Well it goes like this. If you take the cheap seats, you get the cheap seats and all the inconvenience that goes with them. If you are going to have to buy another antenna and power adapater... just spend the exta $20 or $30 and get yourself setup in both vehicles. I can assure you, you'll be so happy being able to just grab the tuner and moving from one vehicle to the other. Unplugging that dock and replugging that dock, not only will take a toll on it, but you are going to get burned out doing it fairly quick. How do I know... Been there and done that. I am NEVER doing that crap again. You save a few dollars and end up just having to fight it all the time. NO thank you! Spend the extra money, you'll be glad you did in the long run.
