I've been using these as well. I've tried some more expensive buds, but still like these better. I have not had any problem with the foam falling out at all. I have found the mute button to be a pain. I cut it off the wire, and solder the cord back together. Then the buds did not work. The mute button has a small circuit board inside. I had a brand new back up set. So instead of cutting the mute button out. I kept the mute button, and glued it so the button could not be pushed in. So now it is as if it has no button anymore. I should not have any problems any more. A side from mute button. I like the product a lot.
Edit- Koss sparkplug ear buds it is

Sennheiser CX300's. Had them for a little less than a month but they work great. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I can't hear other people's conversations that are going on less than 4 feet away from me. They've got that great Sennheiser sound to them too! $60 bucks on NewEgg.com. Don't spend $150+ on headphones made by people that are known for making mics...it doesn't make sense. BUY MORE SENNHEISER HEADPHONES!

Sorry. Not only do I not like those, but the asymmetrical cord is a joke. I'll stick with the Koss sparkplugs. So far more expensive buds have not proven to me that they sound better with the 100.

The asymmetrical cord isn't a joke. It's meant to run over your left shoulder and behind your head. It's the perfect length for headphones. I didn't like the cord much either but now that I know how to properly use them, it's no big deal.

Another thread brought up the topic of wireless headphones. I'm really hoping that soon some good wireless ear buds will come out. I imagine it might take some time to get the technology to good quality buds. Even now really is not much of a selection of good buds. I have not been impressed thus far with more expensive brands. Any how bud wires are such a pain in the neck. Keeping fingers crossed on quality wireless.

Post wireless headphones

For hanging 'round the house I use a pair of Plantronics 590's. They are a little too geeky looking for public ware! However, they are ligher than they look and the BT range is very good with the universal adaptor.
I do believe I'll try a pair of Koss Spark plugs for strolling around and save my money for a nice quality pair of BT buds when they hit the streets.

I really like them a lot. Great for the price. I feel it is good to have backups just in case. RS does something funny. Maybe Koss will design wireless.
