Default Thanks Tss

well today i was hunting to get a antenna extension and i was going to get it from sirius.com for the 15% off. (about $4)

i wanted to get the antenna extension for a second outside antenna for my house.

i have this antenna on my roof now.
http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-outd...nna-p-231.html
awesome antenna.

i already have the second antenna that i intend or intended to use outside.
http://www.tss-radio.com/terk-sir5-m...na-p-3692.html
quite possibly the best sirius antenna that i have ever used.
(yes i know it's for boats but i liked the way it looks and it performs awesome.)

well the 15% off code wasnt wanting to work for me today on this sirius accessory, so i decided to call sirius to order this from them.

after about 10 seconds on hold!!! she started to pull up my account info and i was on hold.
after like 30 seconds of silence from the sirius end of the phone i was like screw this.

i'll order from tss!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
so i ordered my antenna extension
http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-ante...le-p-3834.html

and i also ordered a new antenna!
http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-home...on-p-3651.html

i think this is a newer antenna.
it allows you to take the signal from your antenna and send it to two sirius receivers.

so now with the 2 antennas i can get a perfect sirius signal into the 3 sopts that i want in my house.

fyi, i do have the stiletto with wifi but i feel the need to be able to have a normal sirius signal in my house to be able to record onto my stiletto and to listen to all the sports on the different sirius radios in my home.

now i will have a antenna line for my stiletto and soloist, my xact visor in the family room, and for my starmate replay and boomcube in my bedroom.

so now i will have that extra marine antenna to sell or to give to a friend.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

today i did VOTE, but i didnt vote shop sirius. i voted TSS!

does anyone have the SIRIUS Home Signal Distribution Kit that i bought?
http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-home...on-p-3651.html

i would appreciate a review of this antenna.

once again thanks TSS.

i guess this SIRIUS Home Signal Distribution Kit could be a cheaper less effevtive answer to the home repeater that we all want.

i would imagine that the average person would be ok with 2 lines that go to a antenna.

i know that i would pay a good $200 tops for a home repeater that would cover the whole house and part of the yard.

but for now this will do.

when we get the new satellite up in 08, i think we wont hear anything more about a home repeater.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i read somewhere that sirius has a satellite on the ground waiting now if something was to happen to one of the three satellites.

i say they should send the one on the ground now up in 2007 so we would have 4 of the figure 8 satellites and when the one is ready in 2008, we would have damn near perfect reception.

if we had 5 satellites up we wouldnt need any outdoor antennas.

but that may be some time down the road because sirius wants to save the satellite on the ground incase something was to happen to one of the other three satellites

TSS is really great. I never ordered from them until recently and I will now make all my purchases from them. I don't think I have ever received a product so fast after ordering online. I am waiting for a car dock from them, and I was very tempted to just buy it from Best Buy last weekend, but I was able to wait since I am now a fan of TSS.

I heard everyone talking about CC, BB and Crutchfield and buying products from them. As good as they may be, they don't help sponsor this forum the way TSS does. In fact, TSS even posts and contributes the discussions. I ordered a home dock from them a while back and still don't have it. Although I could get it from other sources who have them in stock, I just think it is better to support the people who support us.

My leather case and overlay is with the DHL dude as we speak. Woohoo. Thank you TSS. I don't think I will ever order anything from any other company other than TSS.

The participation on this forum by TSS makes a huge impact on my decision to purchase from them. If you have a question about a product you ordered, the guy answering the phone at Crutchfield doesn't know anything that isn't in the computer. We have found this out by people getting all sorts of different responses by different employees. TSS can answer ANY question you have regardless of if you bought from them or not. It is a great company. I also like that it is so close to me, so when I order I get it next day pretty much!

Oh NO! The Phones don't stop ringing. LOL

We can help to an extent, but it depends. We don't want to be a call center exactly, because we'd go out of business. But when we have a solution it's always great to help.

Also the New SIRIUS Cable Distribution Kit will help a lot of people out. That just came in. It allows you to connect to the existing cable wiring in your home. So no need to drill any holes for the cables.

Just keep in mind that the Antenna for the Home Signal Distribution Kit and the Cable Distribution Kit LOOK Exactly like the Outdoor Home Antenna, but in fact they connect with RG-6 Cable as opposed to the RG58 that is with the Outdoor Home Antenna.

Thanks TSS - I just received notification my home dock is on the way from you. I recently created a thread asking for ideas on how to best utilize all this Stiletto stuff I have buying now that I have Dish Sat TV, which carries the Sirius channels (most of them anyway). Can the Cable Distribution Kit hook into my Dish Network cables somehow?

Thats where the DBS/Combiner Splitter Comes in. Keep in mind that will need the Outdoor Home Antenna with it. We get more returns on the DBS/Combiner Splitter than I'd like because of some compatibility issues with certain Satellite TV Systems.

And there is very little info on what will work with it.

The DBS/Combiner is for Satellite TV. You will need the Cable Distribution Kit.

BTW, we are about to get a photo of the Cable Distribution Kit. The one that's up now is just the Outdoor Home Antenna.

I had purchased the Outdoor Home Antenna several months ago and an extension chord to reach my living room. If I want to tune in in my office (where the cables join) I have to disconnect the extension and plug into the Outdoor Home Antenna directly. I think I purchased before Cable Distribution Kit was available. Is there a splitter available that fits the Home Antenna? It didn't sound like it.
