Default Screen Protector for Stiletto

Can you use just a regular screen protector that you use on your PDA, cut to size or do you have to buy the one that's made for the 100.

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you use the screen protector made for the Stiletto?

Does this even exist? I've been waiting for Shieldzone to make their screen protector but haven't seen it yet.

At the time the idea was brought up of having screen protection, the ones designed for the stiletto were not yet available. The PDA protector seemed like a good way of getting by.

I've done it to mine and it worked out very well. The only drawback is that it doesn't have the cut out for the controls on the front. (Mine goes from above the Sirius logo down to just above the line of the controls.)

IMO
Pros of using a PDA screen protector: A 10 pack only costs $10, it was available at the time, it works, it looks good, and I think that the little bit of protector on the genuine Stiletto protectors that goes around the controls is likely to peel up in a short amount of time.

Cons: It doesn't wrap around the controls to protect that part of the screen, you have to take the time to carefully measure and trim a PDA protector rather than just grab one that's ready cut for the job.

Now that the ones made for the stiletto are available I would guess that saving a few bucks is about the only reason to choose one over the other.
