The Zune comes out in two days. I gotta say I'm pretty impressed. I especially like the brown model.

Not a chance. The Stiletto is everything I have ever dreamed about in a portable radio.

Not so sure...

Zune + SCH1 Tuner + Mitch's USB cable = $344.98
Stiletto + Features of Zune + Built-in tuner = $349.99

Hmm... I'd rather do Stiletto.

I have an iPod and I keep all my purchased music over the years on it. I listen to my Stiletto about 70% of the time. But if I had not invested in an iPod, I probably would get one, but I don't see it happening unless my iPod dies. If the Stiletto had about 6 gigs of memory for storing more music, I don't think I'd see a real need for another storage device, but right now the measly 800MB just don't cut it for me.

The Zune certainly looks impressive. I've seen them at BB at the screen is HUGE ON THEM. However, it is just an mp3 player. That is it. The stiletto is an mp3 player and a satelitte radio.

I sold my ipod when I got my s50 so to have a stiletto and an mp3 player would be, for me, overkill.

Cool device but no, won't be buying.

Understood. I thought of it as a compliment to the Stiletto; not as a replacement.

The 1 Gig on the stiletto is definatley not enough. I have 13 Gigs of music on my mp3 player. Come out with a 20 gig stiletto and we are in business.

You don't even get 1 gig it is only 800MB for wma/mp3's. The Stiletto just doesn't have enough space under the hood and DoublEE is correct it compliments the Stiletto nicely. If all you want is the measly 800MB then the Stiletto would be a great unit overall. But I got music on my iPod that is hardly if ever played on SIRIUS, but it takes up a heck of lot more space than available. I don't like having two devices, but right now it is the only alternative.

I was reading about it's wifi feature and what it's used for.

Sharing/Receiving content with others? Is that all?

Looks like they are building a lot of them ( 1 at a time )

Here was the PDF user manual link

Funny, I'm looking at the full page ad in this sunday's CC flyer. It looks very nice and the screen is great and it would be kind of cool to have something like that to watch movies/tv shows when travelling or something but I just don't see myself buying this.

If I did NOT have sirius satelitte, I would almost guarantee that I would buy this. Looks cooler than an Ipod.

Even when I had my 4gig ipod mini, I think I topped out at like 50 songs or so. I can never understand how people can possible have 10-20 gigs of music. What do you do with all of that?

I have all of that music so that I can put it on random and I could hear anything I have completley unpredictably. Its like having my own radio station with nothing but music I like.

Nope, not me... let's wait and see what happen several months later.

Now if it was lot cheaper than an iPod than I will take a closer look at it.

They have these on display at Wal Mart (no product for sale yet) and, like I had said previously, it is way cooler looking than Ipod. But with something like 20 million Ipods sold, isn't Microsoft coming into the game a little late much like they did with X-Box?

I wish they would stick to what they know (operating systems) and stop coming out with Me-Too products, no matter how impressive they are.

Pretty amazing that 6-7 years ago having a computer with 1-2 gigs of total memory was outstanding and now people want 5-10 times that much just for their music. What a difference a few years makes!
