Default Radio Replays Lost

I'm not quite sure why, but just noticed that all of my Radio Replays are gone. I had 3 different music channels with Radio Replays, and generally leave my Stiletto in the Dock at home playing Octane for a few hours at least one night a week so I have something to check out when I can don't have access to Wifi, or Sat. Just went to show a friend that Radio Replays does show Artist/Song info, and that you can skip through songs, but instead got the description of what Radio Replays are, and that I have none.

Possible explanation? One night this week, I had the player in the Dock overnight, but it was plugged into an outlet that is triggered by a light switch, and the cleaning lady had turned it off. Didn't notice till the next day when it wouldn't power up due to dead battery. Could a dead battery for about 24 hours cause this? The battery was only about 1/2 dead before I put it in the dock, and I placed it into sleep mode.

Can't think of any other events that would have caused this.

Since these Radio Replays are saved to the memory, I would not think that a dead battery would wipe the memory. My suggestion would be to just keep an eye on it from this point on to see if it loses them. I've never had the issue myself, but I've also never had my battery drained totally either, at least not beyond the point where it gave me a warning that the battery was low. I can't think of anything else that would cause this.

I would think space allocation would be the solution, since you may have run out of room in your Library.

I don't see how a dead battery would lead the stiletto to losing all of its saved content when you can take the battery out completely and switch it with the alternate battery

Weird,...BTW, my memory from device info,...Total usage 98%,All recordings 50%,files from pc 48%, "Loved Songs" 0h 3m, radio replays fill any unused memory. Last time I looked,...I had 6 hours of Radio Replays, before I recorded a Stern Show, (5+ hours), so, It could be that it needed to delete the Replays, although I haven't known this to happen. I have an auto record of the Stern overnight rebroadcast, if it is in the dock, with power on, and obviously with no power available that night, there was no recording. I am also curious if it is usual to use the last 1/4 power overnight in sleep mode. I have run the battery down before to the point of the flashing warning, but the fact that it wouldn't even power up the next morning surprized me.

Reguardless, I love this little beast, and would replace it in a heartbeat if it was lost/stolen. I thought that I would be concerned about battery consumption, but I alternate between Wifi Stern Live, The Previous Days Bubba/Ferral/etc. and WiFi Octane and Radio Replays enough, that I haven't even fully drained the "slim" battery in a days use at work. I'll post any more info I find out.

Default Lost Replays No More

After a long process of transfering my older Stern/Bubba/Ferral shows to my computer, (manually!), I freed up plenty of memory, and haven't had any more Radio Replays lost. I presume the poster suggesting it was a memory issue was correct. I'll have to transfer the shows over more often, although it has to be done in real time, 5+ hours for each Stern show alone. I just enjoy having many shows, AND many hours of OCTANE available. Thanks to all.

I'm curious, what program are you using to transfer these shows, in real-time, to your computer?

I think his is the 1/8-to-1/8 stereo coord that comes included with the home kit. I generally use Audacity for mine plus my computer sound card's Stereo Mixer.
