Default Poll - Slim or Standard what do you use?

As we all know, the Stiletto comes with two batteries, The slim one which makes the back of the radio perfectly flat and the Standard one, that adds that chubby little pouch to it's rear.

By now, many have started to find their favorite one. What is your favorite and why?

I have used my Stiletto in the dock mostly for the past week, but I prefer the larger. It fits in the case nicely and I'll have more time to listen when I go portable.

I started out using the standard one all the time. But since I got my leather case, I switched to the slim one. Both fit in the case, but the slim one allows the radio to slide out quickly. I found with the standard battery made it harder to remove it from the case.

I hardly use portable mode, so battery life is not an issue. Mainly I am switching between car and home docks all the time. In between it goes into the leather case, so there is a whole lot of sliding in and out of the case.

Now that I use the slim one most of the time I went ahead and inserted that slim battery sleeve into my Car kit.

My vote now goes to slim.

I mostly use my slim battery. . . . . mostly. . . . . It's usually in a dock.

But I think that it's OK to use your chubby if you're out in public. . . . . . and you love your Stiletto.

Standard battery for me and I ended up with 2 of them. It has come in handy have 2 standard batteries. I can't imagine I'd ever use the slim. You must use the adapters when using the car docks. I also find my leather case has adapted nice to my standard battery and my Stiletto just slips right out of it too. In fact my Stiletto spends a lot more time out the case than it does in the case.

only time I would use the slim is on a short walk or something. Other than that, the standard is just fine for me. I love the idea of having a second battery with the unit though. I've often thought to myself that I'd love to hand a changeable battery in my iPod too.

I am now using the Slim battery in my card dock.

I just can't make up my mind.

I started with the Slim, but switched to Standard for an out-of-town trip, and then stayed with that for the Tough Skin case (which is Standard-sized and requires a piece of filler rubber when used with Slim).

I usually use the standard battery but took the slim out last night along with my wife's Inno to get a guage on reception between the two. The battery went down one level within the first 30 minutes but held it's own. Suprisingly the Stilleto held the better reception going down a country back road with tree overhangs, much better than the Inno. Both kept switching between adequate to minimal satellite coverage with slim terrestial coverage. All in all I think the Stiletto held it's own up against the well acclaimed Inno. I also chose the slim battery to measure carring weight over a period of time between the two because the standard battery does make the Stiletto just a little more heavier than the Inno.

Standard battery here - but getting the unit in and out of the rugged case is a pain in the arse (if you ask me) but beats dropping it!
