Default Late recording question.

I have noticed if I power up my Stiletto after the start time for a scheduled program, it will not record. This never happened on my S50, as it would start recording at an pint in the scheduled time frame once turned on. Is this a known problem that is being addressed?

I also noticed that if I hit the love button when it fails to record a scheduled program, in order for it to record, The stiletto cancels my schedule.

You are correct. If the Stiletto powers up AFTER the start time of a scheduled recording it will not record that ENTIRE program.

Thanks. It's too bad they didn't take one of the few good features of the S50 and put it on the Stiletto. Hopefully they will have an update to correct this problem. For now I am going to have to break up my recordings in smaller blocks so I don't miss an entire program if I put it in the dock after the initial start time.

I don't mind that I have to start the recording manually. What I REALLY HATE is that it blows away my schedule. This will cause me to miss future programs if I don't remember to go back and add the schedule.

I plugged my Stilleto into the home dock this morning at 6:45am after having left it out of the dock in sleep mode overnight. It turned on by itself when I plugged it into the dock. I tried to change the channel to 15 to record some Replay content. It did that then immediately switched to 100 and started recording my scheduled 6am Howard Stern show. I had to change the channel and do a 'delete partial' to stop the recording. Since I don't need to record this week ((Howard is taking the week off)) I guess I'll have to delete the scheduled recording and re-enter it next Sunday evening.

That is a REAL Pain. I've had to do that a few times, blowing away my 6am recordings.
