Default umbrella test

Well we get alot of rain here on the northern California coast during the winter. I did a test with the headset on my head. With my umbrella above my head of course. I did not loose the live sat signal. So apparently the signal is not broken up by umbrella material. I do rely on the direct signal from the satellite. I was concerned about that, and glad it passed my test. Great passes another one of my tests. Everyday my 100 makes me more, and more happy. As I learn all the features, and it passes all my tests. I seem to be adapting to the 1st generation headset pretty well. Sirius live on the go. On your feet, and your bike. Moving around town. Man it is just great. Now I'm happy. I guess I am addicted to Sirius, but here's to that 2nd generation headset. Cheers.

I have been in the tree's (evergreens) and have gotten perfect reception and had cut outs in the flats with no obstructions in sight. The home dock uses an indoor antenna that works very well in my house yet I cannot even get replays in the backyard with the headset antenna.
I to am becoming obsessed with this thing. I take it everywhere. I did not want to take my IPOD with me except for riding so the tunes would not become stale. Now the supply is endless.

The Stiletto 100 is only my second MP3 type potable player. My first was a ipod shuffle which I bought a year ago. I got really tired of the shuffle, and was not happy with the itunes program. The shuffle has no interface at all really. Prior to the 100 my only Sirius radio was the One. Which has hardly any features, but it is perfect for my car. So when I got the 100 it had all these features I have never used before. I love all the features. I have not been using the wifi too much really up to this point. I am on foot, and bike transportation alot. So usually I use the live broadcast during that time. As well as home with the kit. When I'm in the gym or mountain biking in the Redwoods I like to use my personal library. Usually when I go in the gym strecth room. I like to use the radio replays, and I have found a few shows to record that are on past my bedtime. I can listen to those in the morning at work. The library feature alone blows my former ipod away. The shuffle interface on the 100 is so much better. What I'm saying Scavenger is that I really agree with you. Now we have so much more variety in our ears. It fires me up at the gym with fresh tunes, and having the Yahoo unlimited to go service is great. I like it a lot better than itunes. The subscription based music stores are much better I feel. I put an ad up at the gym today. I am selling my ipod shuffle. Following the sale I will be contacting apple to cancel me from their system. I assume there is a lot of us with the 100 that have similar feelings about this.
