Two interesting links for potential buyers.
Default Two interesting links for potential buyers.

I found two fascinating links that will help non-Stiletto owners make the decision to buy or not buy. The first is the Crutchfield overview which gives a nicely comprehensive list of what's included and the operation for the machine:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-AaemNn6...nfo&i=607SL100

The second is the .pdf of the owners' manual (I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere, but here it is again):

I've spent a good half hour pouring over the manual and drooling...

the unit itself is very drool-worthy. I am sure in a year there will be a better unit that fixes all of the minor things people complain about with the Stiletto but for now, it's a fun toy. Wi-fi is cool, recording songs to the device is really a nice feature, and the fact it's an mp3 player too is sweet. It's a tad high in price IMHO but if you have the money it's a neat gadget.

The price is a big factor and I think that will drop once demand slows down, but most of the major problems with the unit - imho - are caused by the RIAA and the sporting authorities regarding what you can and can't do on wifi. I just hope there's less restriction as time goes on and not more. Imagine how crappy the device could be if they started implemented recording restrictions on the sat reception like the rumours with Tivo!
