The Replay feature sounds kinda cool, but I can't quite figure out how it works. I know it only records what's on the music channels, but how much of each channel does it record? If I have my Stiletto on live sat for, let's say, 6 hours overnight, how much will be recorded? 6 hours of 1 channel? 3 of 2? 1 of 6?

You need to leave the radio on a straightforward signal for 15 minutes then it'll start filling up your remaining stiletto memory with stored songs from replay.

thanks for the reply... If it takes the radio to be on for at least 15 minutes, I guess what my question is this; if I have my Stiletto on for 20 minutes, will I have 5 minutes of one channel, 5 minutes of all channels or what? How does it portion out its recording time?

5 minutes of one channel... if you tune out then you'll have a partial song at the end.

if you leave it on for 6 hours it will save about 5 hours 55mins , it will be just the channel you left it on 6 hours of big 80's.

aaahhhh, I seeeeee! From what little was written about the feature, I assumed it made a cache of ALL channels. Well that makes a lot more sense now! Thanks!

yeah I leave it on a different station every night before I goto bed in the home dock so I always have a few channels to listen to when I am at work or out of satellite range. I have 2 recordings too scheduled at night just to have some variety.

Are you sure about this? I've got probably 18 different channels saved and I've never heard a partial song. I think it only saves the first full song and the last full song.. The only way I've ever gotten a partial song was if I hit the "LOVE" button and it will record from whatever point you switched to the channel. But the radio replays do not work this way from what I can tell.

I'll have to pay more attention when I am playing back the Radio Replays, but I don't recall ever hearing a partial song on any of the ones I listened too. I've heard it nip a little off the front or a little off the backside, much like it does when you "LOVE" a song, but for the most part the whole song is there, but I'll listen a little more intently.
