Default Stiletto 100 battery question

Hello i own a stiletto 100 and i am using the big battery. the question that i have is that when i power up the unit after 30minutes of using the stiletto in wifi mode the battery and the screen get really hot so hot that i can feel the heat coming off the unit. For the past few days i would pull the battery off let the unit cool down for 30 minutes and then fire it up and it will play for the rest of the day with no problems. I notice that when i fire up the unit in the morning in wifi mode it will play for 45 seconds then it will go back to the home page. I then need to start up the unit again using wifi and it will repeat the whole segment that i just listened too. I will ask my brother did you hear that and he will say i heard that a couple minutes ago. thanks wdwrd68

Yes the first is a known bug and hopefully at some point there will be an update. For right now the only work around is to remove the battery after going from sat mode. When you power it back on, you'll get the home screen, then just go to Internet Radio (wifi mode) You'll have no further heat or rapid battery drain. What is happening is the sat chipset is not turning off as it should when switching from Sat mode to Internet Radio or Radio Replay.

I have also had mine quit playing in wifi mode and jump back to the home screen. Not sure what causes this either, I don't find that it does it everyday, but most days it does.
