Default Anyone to transfer from the stiletto to your PC?

Is there anyway to transfer recorded songs or playlists from your stiletto to your PC? For example to switch between playlists when the storage is maxed out? Meaning if maxed, can I move a playlist of 50 songs to my PC, save them, so later I can move them back to my stiletto.

No, this would be a violation of RIAA rules. What is recorded on the Stiletto must stay on the Stiletto.

You can use the Stiletto to receive the service and use a computer program to record or copy to your computer.

The only way to do it, is to re-record the content by connecting the stiletto ear phone jack to the Mike or input of the PC and re-record in "REAL TIME" the analog audio.

Using a product such as total recorder or some other recording software can record it as a MP3 stream. You then can name it according to it's name.

Once it's saved as a mp3 file, you can move it freely back to the stiletto on demand.

I noticed when I opened the device up as a drive that the files had an odd suffix (.pk?) I wonder if it's possible to move one .pk file from one Stiletto to another - and if so, will it start a new trading community - particularly amongst Stern fans...?

me_rubin - Does this still sound decent? More than anything, I'd like to be able to simply back up my Stiletto. It takes forever to save just the right songs. (I don't really care about being able to listen to them on any other machine.) But since there's no back-up feature, I'd like to save my library any way I can.

I usually don't do it with music, but here is a post that I put up where Stern called in to Barbara Walters. I originally just pressed the love button and recorded it on the stiletto. I played it back into the computer and recorded it to MP3. It sounds good. Actually I could of recorded it at a lower bitrate to reduce the size, but it does sound ok.

There are a lot of free recorders to try it out. Just google Free MP3 recorder and you can get some to try.
