Default Battery charge

Is there anything wrong with keeping the Stiletto and/or the spare battery in "charge mode" on your home dock for extended periods? I mean, is it beneficial at all anymore to run down these batteries sometimes?

Lithium-ion batteries are not supposed to be suceptible to overcharge nor get battery memory like a Ni-cd or Ni-mh. However I have great luck with batteries in my cell phones and cordless phones, drills by NOT always charging them. You see all the time on tv that people put cordless phones right back on the charger and this is not good and drives me nuts. Friends and family all do this, then complain their bateries only last a short time. My cordless phone will go over a week until needing a charge. And with my cell phone, also li-ion 9same as stiletto) I keep the same practice and have great luck. But I do not know in full what is the ideal way to treat li-ion batteries, this is just waht I have had luck with. So I will be charging my batteries only when they need it and are very low/dead. Until i hear otherwise from a reliable source.

They are actually Lithium Polymer batteries which have the same charging characteristics as the Li-Ion batteries (same chemicals different mediums). The big difference is the Li-Poly batteries are less likely to explode and do not require a metal casing making them lighter. Neither has the memory effect issues of the Nicad and NIMH.
