Looks nice wsmith! Where do you buy those things that wrap around cords? I have the Stiletto cigarette adapter cord laying around along with my iPod adapter cord. I'd like to use one of those things that coil around cords so that they stay together and it just looks a lot more professional rather than having cords all over the place.

The Stiletto is great! I have a s50 and drive semi truck and I have tried it many times and the thing kept bouncing loose. With the stiletto it works great in my truck the only complaint is the fm transmiter is weak but still not that bad where I live there is lots of open fm spots.

These? I bought a couple of packs from OfficeMax for about $2. They work great for me. Personally I have to hide all wires as possible (OCD LOL).

Yes the FM signal is weaker I agree. (But I love having preset buttons again!) With me S50 on in the garage I could tune in just about any radio in the house and grab the signal.

With the Stiletto I installed an FM Adapter yesterday. I have always had it in my other cars, which generally has been an easy process. But the new company car I was given is Pontiac. I had to basically rip apart the entire dask to get the factory radio out. Plus with GM you new 2 additional adapters due to the female and male plug being smaller. Sound it 110% better now.

In my own pic-truck I have it hooked to my aux input and it sounds great.Cant hook it up this way in my company truck I am in and out of different trucks too often. But It still works for me with fm trans.

I'm a OCD freak too but I don't see any kind of red or yellow colors. From what I can see in the picture it looks like a black wire that is coiling all the wires together. Or am I just assuming wrong? My interior is black so I want something black so it doesn't seem so obvious.

I think what you see to the right of the dash is my SmartCord direct-wire for my Escort x50 Radar detector. I hadn't mounted it back on my dash yet last night. All of the velco ties are under the dash out of view.

I've just been using black twisty ties to control my wiring. I twist then tight, snip off any excess and fold the twists in with the cable bundle. They are camouflaged with the black wires, and very easy to manipulate should I need to adjust anything.

The zip ties are really nice, and very secure (I have a big bunch of translucent white ones) but I find that they stand out more than the black twisty ties, and are a little more work if an adjustment under the dash is needed.

If it weren’t a portable unit, I'd use the zips for sure.

Hey Thanks, yep I think I'll get one ordered this week so I can get it up within reach. I like that you don't have to drill anything too.

Thanks,
