Angry Stiletto Recording with "NEW MUSIC" breaker in song

I just found out a likely reason why Sirius Disorder (and other channels I'm sure) breaks the songname display with "NEW MUSIC" in the middle of new songs they play...

When you hit "record", it records until the display changes!!! So if you try to record a new song, you'll only get a part of it...

I guess theres a legal reason for it, but this sucked... I hope my replay picked it up as i cant find the song anywhere on music download services...

I just tried this on Hits 1. The display changed and said "Weekend Countdown #9" and it still recorded with no issue. I listened to it back and it played fine.

Did you set a recording or "Love" it?

I didnt set a timer recording... The song came on Sirius Disorder, I hit the heart button it said it was recording (heart on bottom of screen) -- I did something else , looked up it said "new music" and the heart was gone and the recording was there, but cut off...

I think this was just a fluke... I have tried several times since your orignal post as did MM and neither one of us can replicate it.

So have you had it multiple times or just this once? By the way I even did my test on Sirius Disorder in case it was something unique to that channel.

Hmmmm, maybe it was just a fluke last night for me... Been trying to replicate it this morning, but not able to at all...

I'm glad to see it isn't a "feature" -- I was quite frustrated because i really dug the song and couldn't find it afterwards (legal or illegal download services)

Thanx for looking deeper into it guys... I would've been negative about this for a while...
