Antenna Extender
Default Antenna Extender

Does anyone have any experience with the Sirius antenna extender cable? I've seen it online in a few places ($50 at Radio Shack... HALF that at Crutchfield) and was wondering if anyone's had need to try it and if it works OK? I need my antenna to point Northwest and where i have my dock points nothing but south. Right now I have my antenna sitting outside on top of something and get three bars at most, and some drop outs.

Do the extenders work well? Is it worth it, or should I reorganise my living room...?

Damn, I love this machine though. I was listening in Circuit City the other day on one of their two unsecured wireless networks...

Default Anybody connect (2) 50' cables together?

I've got a 50' (from sirius) that I run between my outdoor antenna, through my home office, and down to my living room. It works great.

I can't put my dock where I want it in my office and could use about 6 more feet of extension. I know that they won't make those so I was thinking about just getting another 50' extension.

I figure that if there isn't too much signal loss, I could connect them end to end, and I could place my home dock (or boom box when I get one) pretty much anyplace I wanted and still connect to my good antenna.

Has anybody tried connecting (2) 50' extensions together?
