Default scheduled recordings

With the home kit (sl-h1) will the stiletto be able to come out of a sleep to record at a scheduled time? I tried this with the car kit plugged in through an adapter and it would not come out of the sleep

With the home kit it will record in the sleep mode without having to wake up. In the car dock it will not wake up regardless of the power source.

son of a... you really need the home kit to record? I'm sitting here with the car kit wondering why it isn't working. I swear, 500 bucks and they don't provide you what is necessary for the thing to fully work. what the heck.

It will record if you leave the Stiletto on. However, the Stiletto will turn off after 4 hours. This is to prevent your car battery from being drained dead.

Default Question on scheduled recordings

If I have a scheduled recording set up. Can I listen to another channel while it is recording? Or can I move to different channels while the scheduled recording is actively recording?

I don't believe so.

No, but you can listen to Radio Replays or your Library while it's recording.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind when recording.

You could always plug the Stiletto into the wall and put it in sleep mode and it should record. At least it did for me until I received the home kit. You will want to be certain you receive a good signal from the internal antennae, of course. In my home I receive an excellent signal, but I do live near a repeater.

That is exactly right. I did this until I purchased the home kit as well.
