I'm not sure if this will work for you but I had my stiletto docked all day in the soloist powered on... got home and saw this sticky & switched to wifi for a couple of hours nothing was updated... Went to portable mode to walk the dogs & ended up shutting the stiletto down (not sleep mode) & when I turned it back on and connected to wifi the SIR channels were there in about a minute..

I took it out of the home dock, shut it down, and powered it back up and it updated. I must have never switched from Sat to WiFi the first time I did it.

Thanks guys

mine was on wi-fi all night and nothing. I turned it off, back on and went back to Internet Radio and within 5 mins the channels finally updated. I wonder if they'll update the online streaming as well with all the channels eventually. I listen online using the computer all day at work, would be nice to get a few more stations.

since no one else has said it and we usually use these forums for bitching about the Stiletto, THANK YOU SIRIUS for updating our devices. That's a step in the right direction that will make a lot of people happy. Now, time to get cracking on the bugs we have with the 100.

I'm glad I finished making that script to convert an ethereal trace into a DNS zone for the wifi channels.

I wish I knew what that meant... LOL

BTW, the wifi channels were updated after about a half hour while on wifi last night...

The SIR online was updated with all these channels 2 months ago. The Stiletto is now just mirroring the channels that are available on SIR.

I am sure the Zing folks are working on a ZAP update that will bring some bug fixes. One step at a time

I switched to sat mode and then back to wifi and within 10 minutes i had the new channels. Odd.

Playboy's late night call-in show is a riot! I might have to set a timer for that!

I went to an area that has some free wifi service, so I went to internet mode and it searched for it and then I accessed it. But I kept getting some kind of error screen "Channel Unavailable Server Error". I believe the signal strength of the wifi was very week, I only saw 1 bar.

If you aren't using Wifi, then why worry about trying to update it? This is only useful if you are actually using the Internet Radio (Wifi). That error you report could be a couple of things. The router or access point isn't configured right for the Stiletto would be what I'd be leaning towards. Though I have seen this error if the routers internet access is drops out.

All of a sudden I am constantly getting 'Channel Unavailable/Connection Lost' Messages on my Stiletto while using Wi-Fi. I never had this problem up until today.

I noticed this problem after Sirius added the rest of the SIRIUS internet music channels to the stiletto.

I do not have any problems when streaming the channels off the internet via WI-FI, only when using WI-FI on the stiletto.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

I left my stiletto on wifi for 45 mins and still no extra channels added. I was wondering if there are any signs you can pinpoint me to to ensure that the channel list will get updated correctly.

thanks in advance.

I'm not going to worry about it, but I would like to try out the wifi feature anyway. Because never know one day, if I am in a building that doesn't get satellite reception, but great wifi reception. At least I'm ready and I like to keep my stuff up to date!

What I did with mine was leave it on wifi for about 20 minutes, then did a complete shutdown and restart. After I did that and went back to Internet Mode, the new channels were there.
