Default Compatibility with Logitech Harmony Remotes

I just ordered one of these. Does anyone know whether they work with the Stiletto home dock?

I'm pretty sure the Harmony database has stiletto under sirius category. If it does not work you can add the specific receiver name and let it learn from the existing remote. So in either case you should be ok.

Do you have a Harmony remote? I was hesitant to pay that kind of money for a remote, but would be nice to consolidate all my remotes.

I don't. I've been looking at them and played around with one at a store and went to the website and looked up and researched it.

For that much money, I could get a sirius conductor which is what I'm currently thinking of.

I have a Harmony 880 and it is very nice. Highly recommended. Very easy to download commmands via a USB port. A little pricey ($240 or so), but worth it.

I went with a cheaper version. Its actually the version for the Xbox 360. I thought that it looked to have a pretty good interface that blends in with my Xbox 360, but still has the ability to control all my other devices.

A bit off topic, but I too have the 880 ad upgraded from the 659. Both are great remotes. As far as cost, I paid $129 for mine, and it's not to uncommon to get down to that price. Just keep your eye out.

You paid $129 for an 880? Wow, where did you buy it. I wouldn't mind picking up another one if it's that cheap.

Actually I bought it from Dell 3-4 months ago. Saw the deal on FatWallet. You hang out there long enough and you find all kinds of deals that will drain your wallet...

Does the 890 have the "shake on" feature the 880 has? I've got a 5 year old 659 and thinking about its future replacement.

It should. As far as I know the only difference between the 880 and the 890 is that the 890's RF

I'm having a hard time programming my Harmony for my Stiletto home dock. I can control it once I turn it on by hand, but the power button on the harmony remote won't turn the Stiletto on. I've tried about everything I can think of.

I've programmed several Harmony 880 and 890 remotes, and even a 1000 and must admit they are a fantastic product, even for the money. What I wonder is does anyone know if the 890, with its Z-Wave compatibility, can control/communicate directly with the Sirius Conductor receiver? I've heard mixed opinions about the capabilities of the Conductor's remote.

Thanks.

Default Just programmed my 670

I also just got my Home Kit and haven't installed it yet so I am not sure if it works (!) BUT the only thing close I could find in the Harmony database was the SLV1.

I used that and still have to "Learn" many of the buttons. No reason it shouldn't work.

Jeff0514 - it sounds like an you may have to Learn the power toggle button. Or maybe the remote is set only to power off, which is different than power on or power toggle commands.

Love the Harmony Remote! Love Sirius! From car only Sportster to Stilleto 2 and Home Kit my 2 worlds just collided. :-)

Marc
