Unhappy Clock? Why not?

such a "little" thing but I'm annoyed..... some of the most expensive pieces of hardware: s10/s100 (I opted for the S10...) and we can't have a visible clock. I always relied on my Streamer GT (R.I.P.) to set my watch and just everyday use.

Anyone else missing the love of a sat clock????

YES. I can't believe there is no clock. There is a clock on the screen when you setup a new recording but, I mean, come on, that really isn't practical.

I really miss the clock.

The clock might be coming, we'll have to wait and see.

I sure hope there is a clock on the way. With my present mount, I can't see my factory radio clock...the only way is to lean over and look under my Stiletto mount. Not the safest method while flying on the interstate.

Yes, I should have mounted it in a safer location, but Pro-Fit didn't make one that allows that. I don't think it's too much to ask for a $350 receiver. I miss the clock from my Sportster Replay.

I keep looking at the unit to check the time and then remember that they didn't include it. It drives me nuts!

Would also be nice to know what the "official time" is when you are testing to see if the thing will go on when you need it to...

when I first got the radio I was worried that the clock wasn't set correctly, but it is. And I have enough things with a clock on them that I don't really care that it doesn't show a clock.

If they did insert a clock, I wonder where they would put it...

The clock was one of the most requested features when I sent in my list. So, I feel certain they will add one at some point. Where will it be? I figured in one of two places. I think it will either alternate with the battery icon on the bottom left or with the Satellite/Internet/Library/Replay text in the bottom middle. You'll see the clock most of the time but if the battery gets low it will show up to let you know the battery is low or if they opt to put it in the middle bottom, it will show all the time except when you switch modes for a few seconds.
