Default Are there still Wifi connectivity issues with the Stiletto?

Just wondering because SIRIUS is going to send me a brand new unit. I was only trying to get my antenna headphones replaced but the warranty doesn't cover that so they're just going to ship a new one. So if there are still Wifi issues I'll just send my old unit back.

Most of the WIFI issues are with people that bought sketchy wifi products and have no idea how to make everything work properly.

There are a few wifi bugs, but for the most part connection issues are related to the router or access point configuration. You must have the router and/or access point setup to satisfy the Stiletto or else it will not connect or will appear to connect, but you'll get the Channels Unavailable/Lost Connection error.

Hmm I see I was only able to test my Wifi in airports which hardly worked. I was only able to get Wifi connection in Fort Lauderdale.

Anyway, does anyone know where I can purchase the antenna headphones by itself? SIRIUS said they'd reimburse my purchase but I can't find a place to purchase them.

You may check with TSS-Radio but I am not sure if they are breaking Stiletto Packages or not in order to get the antenna/headphones. If not your only choice will be to do the warranty exchange. I don't think Directed is selling the antenna/headphones separately at this point.

Airports are hit and miss with connectivity, but do not use that to decide if your wifi is working or not, that isn't a very good place to judge it. Go to some wifi hot spots that you know are open and if it connects with no problem then the wifi is working fine.

My circuit city finally started carrying Stiletto's regularly, so I got mine exchanged under their protection plan. The second Stiletto I got worked perfectly on WiFi. There was definitely something hardware-wise wrong with the one I got originally. I haven't heard much about this problem anymore, except when its an AP configuration problem nowadays, so I assume they must have fixed the WiFi hardware problems.
