Post Stiletto 100 - After Christmas sale possible?

I noticed that i could now purchase the Stiletto 100 with a car kit or home kit with a $70 rebate from the www.sirius.com website. I am very tempted, but i'm wondering if the price will come down even more after Christmas. I know it's almost impossible to know what the price will be a month from now. However, does anyone happen to know from past years if you can get better deals after Christmas on Sirius products?

I know most places have after-holiday sales, but i'm not sure about Sirius products. (Personally i would like to purchase from Best Buy w/ the warranty, but i the website has a great deal and i can use my AAA discount.)
I'm just looking for other peoples' opinions: Should i buy one now or if i would be better off waiting?

I believe that SIRIUS is in a position this quarter where they desperately want to make their subscriber numbers. They are so focused on selling this month that their are great deals out there. The price will probably more likely change in a month that is typically slower such as February. But the $70 rebate with the Stiletto and a Kit is fairly nice.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, i will most likely be buying it before 12/31/06 from www.sirius.com. If i buy before then, i'll get the Stiletto 100 AND the car/or home kit for $265.99. A sweet deal - considering the retail price shows $419.99!!!

I can save $70 with the rebate and i would also get an additional $84.00 AAA discount. (AAA members get 20% discounts on Sirius products - check it out at:
ww2.aaa.com
I don't think i can beat this deal, no matter if i wait a few months of not.

My only problem is that i'm hesitant from purchasing online because i've read alot of bad reviews; especially if the product goes bad.

Buy Now! If you want to get from Best Buy, I got a coupon in the email that you can have. It will give you an extra 10% or 12% off depending on whether you have a reward zone card. It's good from now until December 17th.

I uploaded the PDF to my server. Just click on the coupon below which should bring up a PDF of the coupon. Print out the coupon on your printer.

Enjoy!

I'm surprised the price point is not in the 249 neighborhood. Lots of options out there. Lets be honest, satelite radio is a niche market.

Good luck dealing with the Sirius.com store. Will the savings be worth all those possible headaches you may have? I don't think so myself. I would suggest reconsidering, and looking at other options on where to purchase the Stiletto from.

I agree with you 100%. If I've said it once I've said it a hundred times. I'd avoid buying from the Sirius store period. Shipping delays, lost orders, double charges on credit cards with months to get the refund. Forget canceling an order and even if they tell you that you have canceled it, most of the time the order shows up anyway.

This place is a total nightmare to do business with and I'd avoid it like the plague.

I hope that coupon covers a stiletto car kit, then again, I have no issues with yelling at Best Buy employees because half the time they give me trouble when I try to purchase an item.

Default buying

I'd use TSS Radio or Crutchfield. NOT through Sirius.

Default Just a thought about AAA.COM

If one is a member of AAA, don't forget the 10% off when you buy from Circuit City in person, on-line or on the phone. WWW.AAA.com/circuitcity.

I just bought a TomTom One for 277.00 w tax after the discount and rebate from TomTom. AAA is great! SO is Sirius!!!

I'd buy now. There's plenty of good deals floating around, IMHO. Or you could always wait until next year when there'll most likely be a price drop because something better has inevitably come along. But why the hell do that?

Already is. If you (or somebody you know) has a AAA account that's 20% off from them plus another 20% off using the "HOLIDAY20" code. Of course, you have to take into consideration that you MIGHT have certain problems arise if you do business direct from SIRIUS. I personally haven't though.

BTW, I honestly feel bad that I didn't order a Stiletto from TSS-Radio. I've had such good luck dealing with them in the past that I almost feel like a trader.
